From there, you'll have to enter a name, email address and password. To create a user profile, click on the small person-shaped icon in the lower-right corner of the screen. The Logitech Gaming Software was a totally solo affair, but G Hub lets you share your creations with your friends and rivals - as well as total strangers on the internet. On Desktop, mouse4 and mouse5 STILL DON'T WORK.(Image credit: Marshall Honorof/Tom's Guide) Not only that, it somehow only works inside my game. It for some reason thinks it's supposed to use the G Hub bindings AND the on-board binding at the same time. NOPE! When I press the side button, it does mouse4 AND 1. I actually have the profile for my G600 saved to the on-board memory, so I thought that I might just be able to use the on-board settings and ignore G Hub. Still love the hardware though.ĮDIT: I actually forgot to mention one other insane thing about G Hub. Now that I'm done with setting up the mice for work, time to uninstall G Hub and go back to LGS. Clearly there are people working on G Hub. Why did no one even test to make sure this function worked? Why did no one forward this issue to your software developers? Why is this issue persistent after an entire year? The download page for G Hub shows that the most recent version was updated 6/10/21. You want to put it on the wheel for some god awful reason? Fine, but at least give us the option to bind it to the twelve freaking keys you put on the side of the mouse. They have always traditionally been on the side of the mice. Mouse4 and mouse5 have been around for decades. No solutions other than LUA scripting or macros. Threads from one year ago pop up with the same issue. Can't even bind mouse4 and mouse5 (back and forward) buttons to the side buttons. I plug my G600 back in, figure I'd set it up on G Hub instead of reinstalling LGS. The user interface is clunky, but I eventually figure it out. I get it installed, and I go about setting up my profiles for work. It requires me to uninstall Logitech Gaming Software to install G Hub. I had to use G Hub cause the old Logitech Gaming Software wouldn't detect the new mice. My IT department is still working on going through the code of G Hub, so I offered to bring the mice back home and set the bindings on my laptop. We are looking into streamlining things by setting keybinds for frequently used buttons on the software we use. Main point is, I actually have 2 G502 right now, but they're for my job. I'm honestly waiting for my G600 to break so I can justify buying a new G502, but that's neither here nor there.

I really hate to add another one of these posts, since there seem to be SO many, but I really just need to air my frustrations here.
